Prepping for Issue #4

February 16th, 2010  / Author: starman

Hey!

Downloads of Issue #3 are considerably higher than Issue #2 and I’m guessing it has to do with the fact that Pat at Crafty Games has been singing the praises.

A heartfelt thank-you, Pat!!!

But it is time to beat the bushes for Issue #4. The nominal cutoff date was 1 March 2010. But with the snows and bad weather (and because I’m not prepared either) the cutoffdate has been moved to 31 March. Note I rather cleverly (and transparently avoided the Aprils Fools day). Please no foolish submissions, I’ll publish it — embarrass us both. No kidding. I will. Well not too foolish anyway…

Again thanks to all our readers and all our contributors! Without you we at PM would be wasting our time.

Cheers!
Norm

Corrections and clarifications

February 4th, 2010  / Author: starman

Oops!

In our rush to get it into your hands, shortcuts were taken.  I have spelled a contributor’s name incorrectly. No excuse!

Dave Schuey’s neat little picture of his AS-500 on page 72 was labelled as “Dave Shuey”. My bad. This has been corrected and future downloads of Protodimension Magazine will have the correct attribution.  I hope Dave will forgive me and that future contributors are not offended.

Cheers!
Norm

The Fright or Flight Instinct

January 20th, 2010  / Author: starman

Whoa!

Ok. Nothing for a month and then two posts, bam, bam. What gives?

Well this is cool!

Lester Smith (were not worthy, we’re not worthy :) ) has unearthed a treasure for Dark Conspiracy fans.  A convention adventure originally designed a while back that demonstrates the Dark Conspiracy setting’s depth is posted and living on Lester’s blog. Check it out. Check out his blog anyway, the guy’s got facets, I’m telling you. Fright or Flight is statless and appropriate for most any dark conspiracy horror genre.

Oh, yeah. That would be here: http://lestersmith.com/2010/01/20/the-fright-or-flight-instinct-redux/

Cheers!
