The Fright or Flight Instinct

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Whoa!

Ok. Nothing for a month and then two posts, bam, bam. What gives?

Well this is cool!

Lester Smith (were not worthy, we’re not worthy :) ) has unearthed a treasure for Dark Conspiracy fans.  A convention adventure originally designed a while back that demonstrates the Dark Conspiracy setting’s depth is posted and living on Lester’s blog. Check it out. Check out his blog anyway, the guy’s got facets, I’m telling you. Fright or Flight is statless and appropriate for most any dark conspiracy horror genre.

Oh, yeah. That would be here: http://lestersmith.com/2010/01/20/the-fright-or-flight-instinct-redux/

Want to write better adventures?

Not that Protodimension Magazine contributors need any guidance, but Cheri Arbuckle over on Evil Machinations has some guidance for would be adventure writers. It’s good advice. Evil Machinations by the way, is devoted to the stately art of GMing. Lot’s of goodies there!

While Jade’s site (Jade=Cheri) is focused on fantasy RPGs the advice for GMs is outstanding. In short I love her site. I wanna be her friend. And she doesn’t even know me. :(

Also thanks to Johnn Four’s excellent newsletter for pointing out her link!!!
